It has never been fully established who first uttered this much-repeated quote. Frank Zappa and Elvis Costello head a long list of suspects. Nor is there agreement about what it means or if it is true. Whatever the truth, as a quote it is both amusing and thought-provoking. Hopefully, like this blog...
